For Aboriginal people, ochre is a precious resource. Ochre is used for stories, art, ceremonial practices and medicinally. The ochre used in my artworks is sourced from Wiradjuri Country with permission. "Through ochre runs a tactile imprint of all that is sacred..." (Bangarra Dance Theatre).
